I love working out, even cardio, since I enjoy les Mills programs a lot...my problem is dieting.... I calculate calories and macros .... but I seem not to be able to follow what I plan.... Maybe i'm a binge eater, I always end up eating more than I should....

How do you guys manage to stick to your diet? I need help :(

I'm trying to cut with a low deficit. I don't need to lose a lot of weight but I want to reduce fat...I don't know my fat percentage but I guess about 20 to 25% ... and it's not that I don't know what to do...i do...I just can't find the willpower I guess ... :/

Well firstly accept that it isn't a going to be a diet because i diet implies you are going to come off it at some point. It's just healthy eating take that mentality. Also if you tally how many days you have stuck to your "diet" and reward yourself with something you enjoy every time you hit 10 days/a month however you want to do it you'll then feel like your throwing everything away by binging out. I tried this and it helped me a lot to stick to a diet by counting the days i'd been training and eating clean and once you get a reasonable ammount you just won't want to see that go back to 0. I;m not sure what you enjoy so i couldn't say what to reward yourself with but i'd porbably buy myself something new, fitness related would good like running trainers gym top that sort of thing! :)

Great statement Mark! It's not about diet, but everyday eating.

Katz, I guess from other thread(s) you eat "too much" because your body feels and needs that. Please trust us your weekly workouts and your macros, we'll can help you easier that way ;)

Thanks guys! The reward thing...not sure it would work for me, it doesn't really motivate me....reward is already seeing progress or food but as for buying myself something nice...not really.... I don't know, it doesn't motivate me.

And as for trusting my workouts and macros, I do trust them,... now I have to really stick to them, workouts no problem (unless sometimes overdoing a bit) but the macros are the problem, the calories to be precise, which is the most important part!

Ok then well if that doesn't work think back to why you started your role models maybe get a poster or something on a post it that you look at everytime you go to your fridge for food and try and get through it with pride! I know that after a while it isn't a challenge it's just what you do, getting into the right way of eating is hard but once your there it's easy so focus if you need reminders inspiration or whatever stick them up around your house. Could just be a PR you made pic of you at your best trophy or anything you have won or picture of your ideal body. Keep in the training frame of mind aswell by watching training videos listening to training music and stuff, should help keep you in the mindset while you get comfortable with it. Best of luck!
