Never in my life have I had a body that I can feel comfortable with. I have always been "chubby". as with many others, I am looking to build confidence in my appearance. This past year, for the first time in my life, I have started lifting weights. over that time, I have seen my body change in dramatic ways. However, I am not even close to how I want to look. I want to be able to take my shirt off at the beach and not be embarrassed of the fat hanging over the sides of my bathing suit. I want to wear my dress shirts tucked in and not feel ashamed of the fat protruding over my belt. Or even wear dress pants and not worry how huge my butt looks. Everyday I am making strides to reach my goals and like many of you, there are ups and downs, successes and failure.
