depends on your total macros. You need to see what you "need".. if you need more fat then get the plain.. does this make sense? You wont know until you track your @mealplan
I LOVE the zippers and bars. They make a good one two punch for sweet and savory damage control from cravings. There should definitely be a sweet/savory "Cravings Buster" or "Damage Control" pack that comes with both the bars and the zippers.
These vids are really great. Helps a lot when trying to find healthier protein rich options for snacks. that said I can't said I have been suffering from the same noxious gas issue with the Quest bars. :)
I liked this video as I've been trying to eat more snacks at night that are high in protein. I love jerky, so thank you for the Caveman jerky suggestion. I looked on their website and it looks like the jerky is made from chicken. I don't think I have ever had chicken jerky. I will definitely give it a try because it doesn't have nitrates or msg. Do you have any recommendations for other brands of jerky? I like variety but also because my kids love jerky but can be picky. Thanks!
I'll give it a try. I did find a brand called Kraze at the store that has not msg or nitrates. :) But I like variety! Thanks again for the protein snack tips!
Glad to see my snacks are pretty close to yours. I can't do cottage cheese though, texture bugs the crap out of me. As for jerky I make my own but jerky, bars, and seeds go everywhere with me. Taking the shred 110% serious and while exercise plays a big part it's the macros that make or break!!! FYI that bread is pretty good!
hey Scott, I am interested in the high protein pasta that you mention in some of your meal (True Gains line), but I cannot find anything like that in the markets here. Do you have any idea where could I find such a product? pasta high in protein for instance..
well, I know it is a bit ironic to ask, but I don't have another choice, despite vegetables for dinner along with chicken @scott_herman.
Here is a spaghetti product in my country, the brand name is "fytro" and it seems to be the highest I can find in protein (20%) but yet carbs are high too (60%). http://s27.postimg.org/xq8d3ofk3/pasta_protein.jpg
ah, I 've seen that section of the website, but I live in Europe and I saw that shipping outside U.S. is not an option, so I am asking for alternative. Are there any ideas for filling my meal and keeping it low on carbs for the dinner? I usually eat chicken along with rise, pasta or potatoes, but these are carbohydrates.

Making me hungry.
I know right haha. Makes me feel like some more protein now before bed!!
Do you recommend the low-fat cottage cheese, or just the plain old cottage cheese for a lean bulk?

Yeah @septsilvers, the chicken jerky is amazing. To be honest, since I found this jerky it is all I buy now. The no msg or nitrates sold me too :-D
