These are the protein pancakes that Erica and I eat every morning! They are delicious and a great way to ensure you start your day on track with your protein needs. We hope you enjoy the recipe and if you would like to see more, be sure to let us know in the comment section below! #HTH
Plug in your skillet / griddle so that it can warm up while you prepare the pancake mix.
Add ¼ cup of raw oatmeal to your mixing bowl
Add 1 whole jumbo egg, 1 egg white only from another jumbo egg, and 3 Tbsp of liquid egg whites to your mixing bowl.
NOTE: If you do not have “liquid egg whites” you can use all regular eggs for the recipe. Just add a few Tbsp of any type of milk if the mixture becomes too thick.
Add 1 scoop of BSN SYNTHA-6 ISOLATE Vanilla to your mixing bowl.
Add ½ cup of plain Greek yogurt (Fat Free) to your mixing bowl
Stir all the ingredients in your mixing bowl thoroughly until they have become a smooth mixture.
Prep your skillet / griddle with cooking spray if needed.
Pour your pancake mixture onto the skillet / griddle to begin to make the pancakes of your desired size.
The pancakes will cook quickly, so be sure to check them periodically.
Once one side has been fully cooked, flip the pancakes to cook the other side.
Remove all the cooked pancakes from your skillet / griddle and stack them on a plate to eat!
Erica and I recommend that you do add the strawberries and sugar free Hershey’s syrup as a topping to your pancakes. Usually when you add protein into a mixture, the finished product can come out a bit dry. The Greek yogurt helps to add some moisture to the pancakes, but you will find that they will taste much more delicious with the added strawberries and sugar free Hershey’s syrup on top! Enjoy!
