Nutritional Facts

Serving Size: About 5 Pancakes

  • Calories: 400

  • Protein: 55 grams

  • Carbs: 27grams (only 6 grams of sugar)

  • Fat: 9 grams

Toppings:

  • Strawberries (4 large): 30 cal. / 8 grams carbs

  • Sugar Free Hershey’s Syrup: 15 cal. / 5grams carbs

Cooking Instructions

Ingredients:

  • ¼ cup raw oatmeal

  • 1 whole jumbo egg

  • ½ cup plain greek yogurt (fat free)

  • 1 scoop BSN SYNTHA-6 ISOLATE (Vanilla)

  • cooking spray (optional)

Directions:

  1. Plug in your skillet / griddle so that it can warm up while you prepare the pancake mix.

  2. Add ¼ cup of raw oatmeal to your mixing bowl

  3. Add 1 whole jumbo egg, 1 egg white only from another jumbo egg, and 3 Tbsp of liquid egg whites to your mixing bowl.

    • NOTE: If you do not have “liquid egg whites” you can use all regular eggs for the recipe. Just add a few Tbsp of any type of milk if the mixture becomes too thick.
  4. Add 1 scoop of BSN SYNTHA-6 ISOLATE Vanilla to your mixing bowl.

  5. Add ½ cup of plain Greek yogurt (Fat Free) to your mixing bowl

  6. Stir all the ingredients in your mixing bowl thoroughly until they have become a smooth mixture.

  7. Prep your skillet / griddle with cooking spray if needed.

  8. Pour your pancake mixture onto the skillet / griddle to begin to make the pancakes of your desired size.

  9. The pancakes will cook quickly, so be sure to check them periodically.

  10. Once one side has been fully cooked, flip the pancakes to cook the other side.

  11. Remove all the cooked pancakes from your skillet / griddle and stack them on a plate to eat!

Erica and I recommend that you do add the strawberries and sugar free Hershey’s syrup as a topping to your pancakes. Usually when you add protein into a mixture, the finished product can come out a bit dry. The Greek yogurt helps to add some moisture to the pancakes, but you will find that they will taste much more delicious with the added strawberries and sugar free Hershey’s syrup on top! Enjoy!

Honestly I love regular pancakes, but not a fan of these ones. Any other ideas for healthy pancakes?

These are amazing, and I have them weekly. I will bump it up a bit with shelled hemp hearts (hemp not cannabis, is a major superfood. Hearts/seeds per 2 tbs/30g= Cal 160, Fat 10g(total) 7.6g is Poly, mono .8g, Cholesteral 0g, sodium 1 mg, carb 6.8g, fibre 2.1g, sugar 1g, 9g protein)

oh that sounds good! never had hemp on them!

For those in Canada looking for the Hersheys sugar free syrup (without high import costs) check out Carb Free Canada as they have a lot of sugar free, low sodium alternatives

Fantastic! sometime bananas and sugar free choc syrup on top, but the hemp hearts act as seasoning while giving good nutrient boost. I really recommend (to clarify Hemp does NOT have THC as it's cousin cannabis does. I work in pharmaceuticals and is a common misconception )

Pretty pumped to give these a try.  Funny that I was craving some pancakes this morning and didn't want to fall off the food wagon just yet so I stuck with scrambled eggs.  Glad I saw this recipe before I caved!

FINALLY tried some protein pancakes for the first time a few weeks back...they were SO GOOD, but I couldn't find any Sugar Free Hershey's Syrup in any grocery store. Ordered some online at the start of this week and they arrived today...needless to say I am looking forward to the next time I make them!

OHHH YEAH!
