Cooking Instructions
Ingredients:
- 1 cup brown basmati rice
- 1 cup edamame beans shelled
- 8 oz can of tomato sauce (low sodium preferably)
- 1 ½ cups of water
- 1 tbsp of dried onion or ½ fresh red onion chopped
- 3 cloves of garlic minced
- 1 tbsp of dried or fresh parsley
- ½ tsp pink Himalayan salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
Directions:
- Rinse and drain rice.
- In a baking container, pour all the ingredients and give it a good stir.
- Cover container with lid or cover with aluminum foil.
- Put in preheated oven at 375 degrees F for 55 mins to 1hr or until all the liquid is consumed.
- Take out of the oven and fluff with a fork before serving.
