Cooking Instructions

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup brown basmati rice
  • 1 cup edamame beans shelled
  • 8 oz can of tomato sauce (low sodium preferably)
  • 1 1/2 cups of water
  • 1 tbsp of dried onion or ½ fresh red onion chopped
  • 3 cloves of garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp of dried or fresh parsley
  • 1/2 tsp pink Himalayan salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

 

Directions:

  1. Rinse and drain rice.??
  2. In a baking container, pour all the ingredients and give it a good stir.??
  3. Cover container with lid or cover with aluminum foil.??
  4. Put in preheated oven at 375 degrees F for 55 mins to 1hr or until all the liquid is consumed.??
  5. Take out of the oven and fluff with a fork before serving.??
  6. Enjoy!
