I just wanted to have a quick opinion from more expert people. Recently I got very tired of counting calories and, honestly, found myself a little bit in need of "comforting food". You know, when you eat just for the pleasure of eating even if you know you don't need it.
I was wondering: how would it work if one was to follow a Paleo Diet (no grains no dairy, lots of vegetables, meat, fruits) to not having to count calories all the time?
They claim that fat gain is very hard under these conditions, since the majority of carbs come from fruits and your are not like to drink one liter of olive oil to get fat.
Since I don't crave quality but quantity of food (expecially fruit) do you think that such uncontrolled diet (in terms of quantity) would be a key to disaster?
