Hey Nation,

When counting my Macros, should I include fruits and veggies to my counts? I know some people say yes and some say no. Just need some good insight to this.

Thanks!

Fruits and starchy vegetables such as potato etc you should track as they contain a significant carbohydrate value. You shouldn't track leafy, green vegetables such as broccoli, kale, spinach etc as they have an insignificant carbohydrate value. May I just add that you should focus on leafy, green vegetables over both fruit and other vegetables and should have 2 portions of these with each meal.

Hey guys I could do with some help (especially you Scott!!!)

New to counting macros but been counting calories a while now. I posted previously as I was about to go travelling, now I am back after three weeks off and want to go back to lean gain phase. So currently this is me -

Weight 73KG

Macros P - 211 C-316 F-78

Lifts (have dropped due to time off) - Squat 130kg, Dead180kg, Bench 85kg

Training push pull legs rest repeat split so roughly 6 days a week.

Any other info needed let me know, does all this sound good to you? Am I on the right tracks?

Thanks guys
