Sucralose in virtually every protein/whey powder I see in the stores. I get extreme gastritis from Sucralose, as I do with High Fructose Corn Syrup. I finally found a Muscle Milk powder that does not use it. Does anyone have any ideas as to other Sucralose-free whey protein products?

Wow.....I never realized this. The Optimum Nutrition supplements I use have sucralose. They also use acesulfame potassium. It is hard to find supplements without these artificial sweetners. I do remember using an Optimum Nutrition pure egg protein that was just egg protein when I lived in the U.S. I would buy it at GNC.

Thanks! I will hunt around and see if that is still at GNC. The Muscle Milk powder I found at Costco in a 4 lb. bag. There some articles I have read recently talking about the negative effects of aspartame, which I have ingested for 30 years now, and a new variant called nutame. A lot of the side effects listed have plagued me for over two decades now. I keep trying to get off the diet soda that still uses aspartame, but find I'm addicted to it. I have no doubt that my weight problem and type 2 diabetes are directly related to the use of diet sodas that contain aspartame.

I am trying to drink a lot of water, but have to use tap water. Sometimes the chloramines are so strong, I end up going back to diet soda. It's cheaper than the bottled water. The bottled water is drinkable, but the store brand that I can afford is so heavily filtered as to make me feel like choking on it. No minerals. Addicted to some kind of flavor, too, I guess.

Water is vital to bodybuilding, to life in general. It's amazing to see how I can be in the gym, yet still not cut the diet soda/caffeine out. When I do try, usually a week or two goes by, then I find an excuse to drink it again.
