    Hey Scott,

    Really enjoying all the great content your throwing out there, as always. I do have a question regarding any suggestions you have for someone (me) who doesn't like training core/abs but needs to. I don't do ab workouts very often because it typically is towards the end of my workout, and it's been over an hour doing other lifts and I kind of disregard it. And when I do them, I get winded easily and my core gets fatigue (because I haven't trained them in so long; vicious cycle) I'm pretty lean but noticing that I'm starting to get some belly fat lol. 

     

    I know it's really important for me to strengthen my core to prevent injuries with things like squats and deadlifts, and even things like getting hernias. I'm not going to lie, I don't care too much about getting a six pack but at the same time I don't want to look disproportional to the rest of my body haha. Are there any suggestions you have for me? (Btw, currently doing cheat/recover program, week 3)

    @basicallyvegetables Well, if you are doing Cheat & Recover, and you're on MONTH 1, that means you are only training every other day with the Push, Pull and Legs workouts. So maybe take the ab work away from those days, and do them on your off days instead, so you basically have dedicated days for abs when you won't be tired from doing a full routine prior.

     

    The other option would be to do them FIRST in your routine for a while. Before going through the rest of your workout. That way you have them done, out of the way, and you can put lots of effort into them 😊
