About Me   

As a young boy, I loved the arts and was not very sporty. I was a late-comer to Health and Fitness, but it's never too late to start. I started fitness at a very young age by taking up Karate (and I loved it) because I was picked on quite a lot and I wanted to be able to defend myself (never attack). I gained confidence and became quite fit. By the age of 14, I had given it up and joined the school hockey team. That was such a fun sport, the drills kept me on my feet and I was keeping my fitness up. From the ages of 17-20, I got my first job, my first gym membership and my first girlfriend. However, my fitness was lagging quite a bit because I was very uneducated and wasn't seeing any results. At the age of 21, my Dad got a promotion and moved us (my Mum and brother and I) to NSW for 2 years. There I got a new job and joined the office bootcamp during lunch hours. Gruelling sessions of boxing, circuits, running and SQUAT HOLDS!!!! The 2nd year in NSW I joined a new gym, got my first personal trainer and trained like there's no tomorrow. I realised that everything I needed to know about health and fitness was out there. I just needed to look. Suddenly I was hooked. Five days a week at the gym and a very clean diet. Before I left Sydney, I did a course in personal training and I decided to kickstart my career in fitness. Upon returning to Adelaide, I started my business DT'S PT and became a part of an independently owned gym. This unfortunately reached a low point in my life because despite my utmost enthusiasm, I was near broke because my clients were not wanting my services. And on top of that, my fitness was once again lagging :( By 2012, I decided to retire from personal training and study human movement and health science at University. While I didn't get into it, I got into Journalism and Creative Writing. As mentioned earlier, I loved the arts and this was a sign. Now I'm doing something I absolutely love and I haven't let my fitness and health drop. Not one bit Thanks to Scott and his awesome videos on YouTube, I'm constantly encouraged and inspired to push that little bit further. My goal is to be THE BEST. While Scott is a massive Goku fan, I'm a massive Vegeta fan. I want to be Number One: Strong, Fast, Powerful and Unstoppable. In simple terms: my goal is to have an all round level of fitness. In the last two years I have put on 8kg of muscle and I'm very proud of results. Still got a lot of work to do but that's what this is all about. Be happy but never satisfied - Bruce Lee HTH
