Just a teen from Serbia trying to soak up as much knowledge as i can. I train martial arts and i started weight lifting in june, 2014. My goal is pretty ambitious, i want to be perfect, and by perfect i mean to be able to do anything. For example, if someone asks "Can you bench that?" i say sure, if someone asks "Can you do a backflip?" i say sure, if someone asks "Can you do muscle ups?" i say sure. Basically, my main goal is to get stronger and get a really lean, fighters physique with not too much size (although i want to be bigger than i am now). I've been in sports all my life but i was never really strong. I played volleyball and basketball (where there was no strenght training at all, we were lucky to do push ups every once in a while) and then i decided to quit that become a man through weight lifting and martial arts. I started from scratch, being super skinny (around 60 kilos) and being able to do maybe 10 push ups and bench just the bar. The beggining of my weight lifting journey was terrible, since my "trainer" didnt know what he was talking about, giving me some bullshit exercises and training methods (maybe bullshit is a bit much, i would say ineffective is a better word for it). That is when i got introduced to the world of fittnes and where i really got hooked, learning everything i could from Scott and other youtubers, reading books and getting information from other sources. Then, when i got some knowledge of human anatomy, the muscle building process and fitness in general, i was able to make my own training style which is a mix of strenght training, olympic lifting, power lifting, calisthenics, plyometrics and yoga (using exercises and training methods from each of the training styles on different body parts) and with that i made tremendous gains in a short amount of time. I look forward to learning as much as i can from the more experienced people here, and of course, make new friends. :)
