Do I need to stop eating fat to lose fat?

By Scott Herman in Weight Loss · Published

No. FAT is an essential part of your diet.

Trans fat should be avoided, as should saturated fat GENERALLY. Saturated fat should make up 10-20% of your fat intake though.

Monounsaturated fats and omega 3 fats are healthy and need to be a regular staple in your diet.

Fat is lost when you eat fewer calories than you are burning OVERALL.

If you want to lose fat, you should aim to eat more fat calories to make up for lost calories from cutting carbs.
