Is fat really bad and what fats should I be eating?

Contrary to popular belief, fat does not make you fat.


The fats to avoid are man-made fats like Trans-fats (processed foods) and saturated animal fats (visible fat in beef, pork, and lamb.


Coconut oil should be your main source of saturated fat. It contains Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCT’s), which are stored in the liver and used as a source of energy, not stored as body fat. This is also important for TESTOSTERONE.


Monounsaturated fats like olive and canola oil, polyunsaturated fats in vegetable oils and nuts and omega-3 fats from fish and eggs should all be staples in your diet.
