Dairy Queen Banana Split? Um, more like Dairy Queen Banana Split Your Pants! Did you know there are 95 grams of carbs in a Dairy Queen Banana Split? That's RiDQulous.

Comfort your gastrointestinal tract with my Banana Split instead. It tastes just as good (actually, better), and it's half the calories and only 30 grams of carbs! Plus it's loaded with protein.

Feast your eyes on my Healthy Banana Split!

BEFORE YOU BEGIN: Buy an Ice Cream Machine. I got mine at the rainforest place for ~$50. Best thing money can buy. I use mine ALL the time except when I don’t use it.

Watch my “How to Use an Ice Cream Machine Tootorial Video” or just read my instructions here.

Cooking Instructions

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk (note: you can substitute with coconut milk, which will make the ice cream even creamier).

  • 1 scoop of BSN ISOBURN Whey  (chocolate milkshake flavour)

  • 1/4 cup strawberries (they can be frozen or fresh)

  • 1 medium banana

  • 2 TBSP of Walden Farms Strawberry Syrup (optional)

Directions:

  1. Place the almond milk, BSN ISOBURN and strawberries into a blender (I used the tall 16 oz Magic Bullet cup).

  2. Pour this mixture into your ice cream machine for 10-15 minutes to combine everything.

  3. Cut banana in half (lengthwise) and plate it.

  4. Scoop the ice cream in between the bananas.

  5. Slather 2 TBSP of Strawberry Syrup over the ice cream (optional).

  6. Eat it up and enjoy!
