I got this a a gift to myself and to hopefully help me get more info on my personal goals. If you've not seen it before, it is a fitness box that comes with a fitness band, heart rate monitor and sale. The cyber monday deal i got on it was great, and since my other tracker is just not enough I though I'd try this.
It also came with myfitnesspal and its own app. those two talk to each other and it's been pretty cool so far.
Well, to get to my question, when you wear the band and the heart rate monitor, this system comes together to give me my heart rate through the workout calculating calories burned (I'm assuming based on heart rate), total time, "Willpower," and intensity. It gives this neat looking graph.
My question is, if it is calculating the calories burned, and I use those along with my daily caloric goal, what are the odds of this calorie system being incorrect, giving me a false sense of additional calories to eat for that day?
