Yo, I'm back after hard work.. I was here earlier this year, I got your advice about cutting down under 20% body fat, and then bulk. I went from 73,1kg (161,157914 pounds) to 69,6 kg (153,441734 pounds), and my family keep telling me that I shouldn't remove more before going to bulk. Now, I remembered you Scott, and thought I would take your advice again; Should I start bulking or cut some more?

Most people say cut more to below 20%. Socail media gurus usually say 15-16 % min. But its up to you. I got down to 15% and couldn't stand it anymore and started bulking. But you need to be ok with yourself that you will get bigger mucsle too but you will add fat and a little more around the waist while bulking. If you feel good and like to see more pounds off keep cutting. If you have been cutting for a while and feel like you can't grind it out any more go ahead and bulk. Me personally I would keep cutting till about 16% before making that choice

i’m laying about 17% body fat, and I feel great about my self after losing some pounds.

I will start bulking from tomorrow!

@Omar200130 How old are you bro? If you're still a teenager, you don't want to spend too much time cutting.

 

Plus it looks like you might be slightly on the skinny fat side of things.. which would mean maybe eating at maintenance or a slight surplus for now so that you can hopefully still get a little leaner while you're bulking up (which you should be able to do if you're still in that newbie phase).

@Omar200130 OK. Try to eat at maintenance to give youself a chance of building muscle while losing fat, I think that would be your best bet at the moment! Watch this video too.
