Get ready to feel the pain Nation! This workout comes complete with the ultimate upper body challenge. But before you even begin the grueling circuit of 4 rounds of 4 exercises, you must complete 50 pull-ups as fast as possible! Whether it takes 5 minutes or 30minutes, it will be up to you to push yourself until you finish them all! As soon as you complete the pull-up challenge, our full body circuit will push your muscular endurance even harder! Do you have what it takes to reap the rewards of hard work? Only one way to find out! Tear it up and try to beat your completion time each time you attempt this workout! #HTH

Did this challenge the other day to see if I could even make it through the 50 pull-ups.  My time was 4 min 38 sec and my back felt great the next day.  My goal now is to try and get under 3 min and then go on to the 50 muscle-up challenge =P  Thanks for the awesome intense routine.  You really know how to challenge your followers so keep it up. HTH

 

FYI just signed up me and my wife for NINJA Warrior 2015 and we both have been doing alot more bar work and grip strength training.  It would be awesome to see you there too!!  That is if we can even get on the show to compete, but im sure you would have no problem making an awesome submission video and being accepted.  Anyways keep training hard!!

HEy @Thomer13, that is a great time man!! Pull-ups get easier with repitition, you are well on your way... But those muscles-ups... haha.. might take a little longer, but you can do it!!

50 Pullups woah :O :O Nice one, Scott

 

5 Pullups is my current challenge lol, I managed to do one the other day, mostly the wrist extensors were very tight when performing them, not so much on the grip.

You definitely need grip strength training for the rock walls and such. Train hard! #HTH

I agree Scott,  Grip strenght seems to be a major factor in that show.  You see so many strong athletes on there but the best and ones that seem to go the farthest are normally the hard working guys that build up insane grip strength on the job.  You don't have any good workouts to help with this type of grip strength you could show me do you?  I already do your forarm routine 3 times a week but always looking for new things.  If we do make it on there though I will let you know so we can rock some SHF gear to promote your brand.

I ws just watching the show. You see the "Rolling Dice"? That looks like so much fun!!!!

 

To be honest, anything you can do with holding a bar. When you deadlift, DO NOT use a switch grip. USe overhand and keep lifting until the bar slips out of your fingers.

 

A cool trick.. Put a pull-up bar in the doorway that goes to the TV room. Practice hanging as long as you can while watching TV.. American Ninja Warrior for inspiration :)

I have seen the Rolling Dice and yes that looks like alot of fun.  I kinda wonder how heavy that thing is since it seems like some of those guys are putting alot of swing and body weight into flipping it.  I just wish I could find somewher close to me that has a practice gym to try some of these obstacles out.  I think the warped wall would be a tough one to get down if you didn't already have an explosive vertical.  However Im thinking of building alot of my own obstacles the are similar to theirs on the show.  Once I get it done and if you ever around this area maybe you could come check it out but I doubt you are ever in Nebraska much LOL.  But thanks for the advice on Grip Strength and ill try them out.  One thing I have been trying to conquer is putting my TrueGrips on the deadlift bar and do some heavier sets with them.  But it takes some serious grip strenght to even do the littlest of weight.  Have an awesome work week and keep up with the show because I love talking to others about Ninja Warrior.  You didn't happen to see last nights new episode where they had to cross a bridge with 24 door knobs?  Talk about a crazy claw grip considering every one of the Knobs turned.  Talk to you later!  HTH!!!

        Hi Coach.It's about your Lower Body workout.I tried it today at the gym.After the two first exrcises my glutes and quads were on fire.For the finisher I did 5  sets of 12 reps...I couldn't do more...my legs are still shivering.I love you for all those amazing workouts.
