I'm trying a new routine and it involves some exercises that involve me being on one leg. I don't have a lot of co-ordination and balance and I'm very uncomfortable being on one leg. Can I live without doing Bulgarian split squats and single leg lifts/rows? Failing that, are there ways that can help me improve my balance?

thanks, folks.

You could start off with lighter weight, and increase weights as your balancing gets better. And yes you can go without those exercises, there are many other exercises to choose from.

Either go with lightweight/bodyweight, or set yourself up near a structure that you can just lightly press one hand against to balance yourself. As you become more advanced and your balance improves, move away from that structure and practice doing it on your own, but still without weight until you feel comfortable adding weight to the exercise.
