So I am going to be putting a new routine together that will involve a burn set.
My question is it wise to push to work out 3 body parts each day or 2?
thanks again peeps.

It depends on what you like, how much you eat and your goal. It also depends on how you are going to workout, I can easily workout my entire body in one day but If I do bodybuilding style then that would be overtraining, if I do crossfit for instance, then it would work. You have some more info to go on ? If not, simply chose what you feel like is the best for yourself and your goals.
I usually have about an hour i usually will do core, my workout and cardio.
I want to add a burn set on my last set, i was thinking of doing chest, back and biceps with 3 sets of 10.
I want to build muscle but nothing like a body builder.
i also need to lose fat. i am shooting for 120 P, 80 F 200 C.
hope this helps
Depends on your goals. I do 4 body parts plus abs each workout 4 days a week. Full body, when done intensely, burns a lot of fat and can build some great lean muscle as you are training all major muscles twice per week.
A word of caution though - this is intense training when done correctly so your nutrition and rest protocols become paramount in your ability to recover and grow from this type of routine.
John
thanks alot, i will start with 3 body parts. you have been a big help.
Glad I can help. Remember to keep your workouts to about 60 minutes. I complete mine in 1 hour. Any longer than that, and risk spiking our cortisol levels which will lead to muscle breakdown and slowed muscle repair.
John
does this include cardio?
any recommedations for app to use for logging workouts?
I don't do cardio. My workouts provide enough cardio as I am doing anywhere from 500 to 650 total reps in 1 hour so I am moving quite fast and keeping my heart rate high.
I use the Adidas FitSmart training device and their iOS app.

you can go to "MY ROUTINE" when you log into the MuscularStrength app and click "MY PROFILE" on the main page and log your exercises sets and reps there!
Have you tried my 12 week program yet?
I am waiting for the app to come to iOS and I have not but have looked into it. I just might give it a shot.
