Hey scott.

I'm fat. I've 25-27% body fat percentage. my height is 5'6 .  I'm 15. I don't know what to do.. I wanna get ripped body within one year..

So my question is,

I saw your video on caloric surpluss that you need to have a caloric surpluss to build muscles as a natural lifter. I'm a newbie..So..

If I eat 2200-2300 calories per day and i burn 500 calories in hiit of workout will it help me? so it'll balance both.. and ill also lose weight while maximizing my gains!

and second question is,

I've slight gyno..not that much.. with puffy nipples, and my hip is lil bit wider than my shoulders..Does that mean that i've low testosterone? Cuz Im 15 and i dont think it can happen bcz at this age testosterone are at its peak. And ive normal morning woods  and normal erections and also masturbate 5 times a week...

third question is,

well scott..I've gyno. I cant afford surgery. My friends tease me at school and it has decreased my confidence level to a great extent. i dont know what to do with my life :( . I wanna ask.. can I train my upper chest to hide my gyno? Or any other parts of body tot rain to hide my gyno a lil bit. Please don't say that only surgery can do it. ik that only surgery can do it.. But what exercises can I do to lil bit hide it.. what muscles should i target..

and should i use a lil bit upper grip of chest fly machine to target my upper chest..

Thanks.

I know I asked a lot of questions and wasted your time. But sorry..This is my last hope you know.. or else I think I'll have to spend my whole life like a fat ugly gyno shit hanging here and there and finally will die..

Hey brother,

I'm not Scott, but I'd like to offer you some insight.

1) As a complete beginner, you can likely get away without eating in a calorie surplus. Also...because you're 25-27% bodyfat you have extra reserves which will assist in the recovery process. I can see you gaining muscle while losing fat without difficulty. My personal recommendation is to eat at maintenance calories since I do not advocate cutting as a 15 year old. Your body will automatically recomp as you gain more muscle. Feel free to add cardio as well, this is a good idea. By the way, 2200 calories is likely too low for your age. You can eat way more than you think since your body is still undergoing puberty.

2) Don't worry about it. You just need to put on more muscle in the shoulders, lats, etc while lowering the bodyfat percentage. Also gyno is fairly common among teenagers. There is a VERY high chance that it will disappear with time, you're not on performance enhancing drugs after all. I can guarantee your testosterone levels are fine. Do not get surgery, just get lean and jacked.

3) There are many effective upper chest exercises. I recommend the paused incline bench press using dumbbells or barbells, as well as low to high cable crossovers. You may also do "chest shrugs" which is an interesting movement. Don't worry about this too much though, focus on building your base level of strength and size through using effective compound movements and ice the cake later.

Hope this helps! Do not give up on yourself, your desire for knowledge will lead you to become a complete badass very soon.

Hey @talhaarshad.

1. I totally agree with Alex. You shouldn't be cutting at your age, and while your bodyfat is rather high, if you eat at maintenance while probably going a bit lower on your carbs and including that HIIT training, that will help you lose weight. And being a newbie, you will build some muscle no matter what your diet is like initially. Obviously you would be in a better position to maximize your gains in a SURPLUS, but don't go there just yet. Wait until you have your body fat percentage below 20%.

2. Again, I agree with Alex. At 15 years old, and with a higher body fat percentage, it's probably not gyno. It's probably just that you are holding excess fat in that area which is making it look 'puffy' etc. Definitely don't think about surgery yet. If you got down to say 10-13% body fat and still had very distinct gyno, that would be a different issue. Lean down and you should notice a difference hopefully. And the hip to shoulder ratio doesn't mean you have low testosterone - if anything it probably just means you need to add a bit more mass to your upper body (shoulders and chest) to create a more V-tapered look.

3. I think Alex has covered this perfectly too! Those are all great options to build your upper chest, but remember, it's probably the fat loss that will have the most impact. Have you been to the @mealplan page to use the calculator for suggested macros and calories as a starting point?
