    Need AB Help

    I am 54 5'3 145lbs my first goal weight is 138, my second goal weight is 130 and my ultimate goal weight is 120. I am doing "The 12 Week Home Program" to lose weight. I'm eating 1350-1550 calories a day.  I have 31% body fat. I am gaining muscle but my two weak areas are inner thigh fat and AB fat. What can I do to target these areas? The rest of my body is looking good, but these two areas are awful and take away from my hard work.

    @shapeingup you have some great goals set out there!

     

    Unfortunately you can't spot reduce fat. You just have to be in a deficit, and your body will choose where it loses fat from. So you are doing everything right with your calories and training, now you just have to watch your body do the work!

    Thanks, Scott, that was a great article and good advice. I have two weeks left on The 12 Week Home program before we start month two. I looked ahead at month two and seen a lot that will keep me challenged and should go a long way in helping me.

    @shapeingup MONTH 2 is definitely a step-up in intensity, but after making it through MONTH 1, you will be ready to CRUSH the next lot of workouts as well! Keep up the good work! 🙌
