    Stretch marks on lower back

    March 15, 2019, 10:48 pm

So for a year now I have these stretch marks on my lower back.

First it was only a few at the bottom of my back but now there's a lot of them and they lead to the middle of my back.

I don't understand why they're there and why they won't go away for such a long time.

I know this could be from muscle growth but why don't they disappear?

    Anyone else with this issue?

@xarnoldasx It can take more than a year for stretch marks to disappear. It's possible you are still growing at a slightly faster rate than your skin (which might be why you notice they are bigger). If they are bad and you want to get rid of them, Red Light Therapy can help. There is an article here about it! https://muscularstrength.com/article/get-rid-of-stretch-marks

@xarnoldasx Yeah man they can be a pain in the butt. Hopefully they're not too much of an issue for you though! Means you're making good gains if your muscle is growing faster than your skin to create them in the first place 💪
