dumbell becnch press 3 sets 0f 8-10 reps

barbell bench press 3 sets of 6-10 reps (On my 1st set I tried doing the reverse bench press but i need to work on that, I ended up doing overall 1st set 135lbs of 6 reps for the bench press just to clarify why I only did three on the video)

hey scott, so ulfortunately I think depending on the exercise there might be a limit for my progressive overload, so on certain exercise I cant really focus on prgrossive overload as much because Ive hit my limit, then again I think i can add extra 5lbs, but lets you cant add those extra five pounds should i just focus on metabolic stress and muscle damage? And Can I get feedback on both exercise to see what I did wrong? to improve on these two exercise?

@clutch_1994 Well.. you say you can't overload but, overloading doesn't always mean adding more weight. Doing more reps, more sets, resting for less time, doing pause reps or longer negatives (more time under tension) - those are all ways to implement progressive overload.

But also, you obviously have someone there filming you, right? You can get them to spot you and do forced reps / cheat reps with heavier weight too!

That makes sense, did you watch my dumbbell and barbell bench press? Can you give me a feedback on both forms and ROM?

@clutch_1994 Yeah I watched both. Your form looks pretty good and the ROM is perfect. It's hard to tell from the angle it was filmed at, but just make sure you are pressing the dumbbells over your chest and not over your shoulders. And possibly try to get a little more elbow tuck on your dumbbell press.

@clutch_1994 It can limit your ROM a little bit, yes. Where you have your hands is probably OK. Just make sure you don't take them closer 💪

@clutch_1994 Your ROM is definitely good. You could probably use a slightly wider grip if you wanted to. Have you seen my video going over the form?

@AlexSh47 How many times a week are you working out at the moment? You could try either the PPL or Full Body Evolution program which both have great chest work included in them (along with everything else!)

You could also look at the Bigger Chest program! https://muscularstrength.com/BIGGER-CHEST-IN-4-WEEKS
