Hey

A couple of issues really, firstly my right knee naturally tracks inwards when I bend at the knees with my feet straight, when i force the knee into a correct position my right foot feels a huge pressure, ive googled this several times and had no-luck, is this simply a really bad muscular imbalance or something more, any tips on how to rectify this?

Secondly I notice that when I squat I naturally sit sligthly into the left , again there is a real dis-comfort when I force myself into the correct position, any tips would be amazing.

Im considering going to an osteopath for these problems...

Thank You

Olly

Olly, I would definitely consult a chiropractor or a sports medicine doctor to make sure there are no underlying issues. What you describe is endemic of muscle imbalances and weaknesses coupled with possible joint inflexibility (hips, ankles, knees). A knee tracking inward is a muscle imbalance and weakness problem and possibly due to tightness in the hips. The discomfort could be the result of your body being off balance for so long you have formed a "groove" whereby deviating from it causes discomfort. I would still ensure to use proper form when squatting and "re-train" your joints and muscles into a proper movement path. John
