Deadlift Form Check After 6 Weeks of Training

Also interested in avoiding scraping left shin...

I've been working on my deadlift form for almost two months and was interested in any suggestions. I have a habit of looking up and am trying to break that to keep a neutral, straight, spine. I'm also struggling with raking my left shin on almost every lift. Any thoughts on that would be awesome. Could it be my hips aren't square or my right side is significantly stronger than my left?

 

I should also mention I'm using a switch grip as my forearms are weak and I'm lifting 205, yep I'm a newbie.

I would need to see a shot from the front as well. As far as your head is concerned. Just remind yourself with each rep. Pause at the top.. fix your form and repeat.

As you become more flexible you will be able to push harder through your hips. Overall, great lift man! We all have to start somewhere.

 

Also, you can upload videos as UNLISTED to YouTube and then use the video insert tool in the text editor here to post the video in your comment. That way only people who see your @forum post will see the video. WIll be easier for us to watch and comment as well.
