Hello. So my overall question is how much protien powder is too much for a day? Is it safe to consume 3 servings with milk in one sitting? Or should I spread them out throughout the day?

Thanks.

It depends on a few things: How much protein can you handle in a sitting? If I myself take 40g or more at once I have stomach issues. Your body can adapt to how much protein it takes in. The most important thing is to try and get most your protein from food but supplementing if need is fine. It's all about how much you get in a day s imo spread it out.

I have been training coming up on 6 years and have made some great gainz. I've done a lot of trial and error on myself as well as learned from others and through research online. I've come along way in strength and size since I've started. I will continue to learn and make myself better each day. @jgomez442 I definitely agree with Aaron, it's more about what your body can digest/handle in one sitting.

Definitely try to get as much protein from whole foods as you can though. Having 3 servings of protein powder would be around 75g of protein right? I'd try to make it 2 servings if you can, and if you have to.

It might be best to have one post workout, then one before bed if you were only having 2. If you felt you NEEDED to have 3.. maybe one in the morning, one post workout, then one at night. That would be a good way to space them out.. but again, make sure you're focusing on getting the majority of your protein from whole foods.

Here's a list you can use to help you get more protein in your diet: https://muscularstrength.com/article/healthy-shopping-list-for-life
