I found one of my gym logs books from 2001 and at the time I had been going to the gym over a year. So similar to where I am now.

I am blowing away what I did 17 years ago, volume ,form, range of motion and weights are even higher. 😀

One thing different was back then my job was much more physically demanding had young kids and I didn't get much sleep. Yet still now.my sleep schedule is very unpredictable because of being on call 24/7.

Still 47 year old me is surpassing 30 year old me all over Haha .

I do have to say YouTube and social media has helped immensely for.my current progress. Thanks coach Scott!

P.S I forgot to say my diet is 10 times better now too, I bet that helps mucho.

This is so cool! That's why it's great to track progress from when you start lifting if you can - you can look back and see where you started and where you are now.

Age is just a number so it's pretty awesome you're doing more and lifting more now even though you are just getting back into the whole routine again. That's probably partly helped through muscle memory. Glad my content has been able to help you man!! Keep improving!

Now i take note of rep speed , rest between sets and even range of motion like ASS to GRASS. It all needs to be factored in.

Yeah it all plays an important roll! Got to have that control and full range of motion to maximize your gains! Great work with training 5 days this week! That is how many days I am training too with Cheat & Recover!
