Hello everyone,

So, i'm taking daily one scoop of BSN True Mass for gains, i'm having it in the morning before eating my breakfast.

Is it good to take it like that? Or it's actually better to take it post-training?

Also, should i replace my breakfast totally for the protein shake or do both?

Any info about it would be greatly apreciated, thanks in advance!

At the end of the day it really doesn't matter. Most people and there is some valid reasons to take it after your work out. I would never replace real food for supplments. In your case looking at your profile it looks like you are a hard gainer and need calories. I would take both if your not gaining weight. Your are at 8% body fat and lean. So watch the scale and take on the calories and see if you start gaining weight (assuming you are trying to bulk). In a couple of weeks if you see you haven't gone up at all add more calories. Some hard gainers need lots and lots of calories so you might be in a spot while your trying to eat as much as possible and take that True mass just to see some weight gain. Im not a hard gainer and man I usually feel stuff by the end of the day while bulking

Awesome advice @Zeke_BE!

@CrawlingMonk definitely don't replace your breakfast with just the shake. Either have both, or have just the breakfast and then the shake as your post-workout drink.

You don't NEED it post workout, but it can be useful to get protein in quickly before you have a meal later. Again, just make sure you are also having a good meal with protein and carbs about 30-60 minutes AFTER training.
