Hey guys, I am using the following muscle gain supplement and I need your thought on that.

http://www.xtr.gr/el/complete-gainer-3000gr-warriorlab.html

here is a photo of the ingredients: http://s23.postimg.org/z010m2h17/Untitled.jpg

I chose this one instead of BSN True Mass, becasue when I tasted true mass I felt like it was sweeter that the first one mentioned here, and then I think I checked the ingredients as well and I realised it contained way more sugars.

So what are your thoughts about my choice and are there any other suggestions for muscle gain?

That gainer seems to be pretty good in terms of macro balance, and the nutrients added into it. If you feel as though this shake is helping you to build muscle, and gain weight then continue to use it. If you think that it is just bloating you or not causing any extra growth then that is when I would suggest trying a different mass gainer, or maybe going onto a higher intake diet. This gainer is defeinetly capable of helping you to gain mass if that is what you are asking, and I think you should continue to use it if you feel like you are benefeting. If you feel maybe a slight benefeit then finish off what you have and try out another mass gainer. BSN supplements do tend to be higher in sugar, but that is not always an awful thing becasue your body uses Glucose to produce insulin which can keep you feeling more alert and raise energy levels throughout the day.

I see, well that's how I made my choice at the first place. In addition I realized that after drinking the shake in the morning, along with my breakfast, after half an hour I need to go to the loo, truth is that I have a pretty fast metabolism. Is there any possibility I just take it in and out again and that way it goes waisted?

Liquified nutrients, like gainers and protein shakes, are made in a way so that they go through your body really quickly. and if the product is not as high quality as you may think it is then it can go right through you. Odds are you are getting a majority of the nutrients, but you are still passing some of it, with this being said I would defiently reccomend the BSN gainer because I know that some of the ingredietns in that will be slower realesing. You can try to add some sort of olive oil to your breakfast so allow it to be mroe slow releasing or mix your gainer with some oats to have the same affect,

I noticed the same effect by having peanut butter wits toasted bread (whole wear) and milk...excluding the protein shake.

@jafarakos

Mass gainer is more on sugar...so you will gain fat mostly. The one that you are using seems like good but low in protein content for maximum growth of your muscle. If you are aiming for muscle gain, I would suggest for Whey protein Isolate. Whey protein Isolate contain low sugar and high protein.

Muscle gain will result in the 3 most important thing.

1.) Your nutrition (including your supplements)

2.) Consistent training

3.) Rest

I agree with @Mcmike

I don't think you should spend money on mass gainers. You should spend money on food instead.

If you truly don't have time to eat you can make your own mass gainers with milk, oats, protein powder, fruits, & peanut butter. You can control the quality of foods when you are making smoothies yourself.

Evagelos,

Avoid ALL weight gainers like the plague. They are just pumped full of sugar then they add protein and other nutrients. This brand you are using is mostly Maltodextrin (look at the label - the order on the label goes from highest ingredients to lowest) as it is the first ingredient. Maltodextrin is a disaccharide and is a simple sugar. The only thing you will get out of this is an insulin spike and fat storage as it has way too many empty calories in one serving for your body to really use.

You must eat real wholesome foods to gain weight and quality mass. Weight gainers are Fool's Gold - they do help you gain weight but it is not lean quality muscle but more fat.
