I just do not get enough protein shake for the day, about 200g of protein. I am cutting but slowly.

It might depend a bit on how your body's ability to actually utilize protein. As we can only actually 'use' so and so much protein within a certain period of time.
Whilst protein as energy source does not really have a limit on how much the body can and will use, the utilization for protein in building muscle is a different matter.
The intake of more than 30 grams of protein per one meal, is basically waste, as your body can not utilze more than that to boost the muscle building and recovery. (there is a study for that here : http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3197704/) It was found that eating more than 30 in one meal had no additional effect.
Thus it's suggested to spread those dosings over your whole day and not take more than 30 in one meal =)
Of course idf you are a big muscular guy you might be able to use a bit more protein for muscle building, but we talk about between a few milligrams - up to 1 or 2 gram more here. So the facit stays the same.
Cheers!

Thanks Crood.
I was also wondering while cutting you make protein smoothie as a meal replacement such as this one from BSN website:http://www.gobsn.com/news/syntha_6_isolate_strawberry_protein_smoothie.html

William,
You can use whatever scoop amounts you want as long as they don't exceed your protein macro targets - just remember it can get expensive. Also, do not use protein shakes as meal replacements when cutting. These are supplements meant to be adjuncts to food not replacements. Follow your daily macro and calorie targets by eating food first THEN add supplements. If you are meeting your targets with food alone, you don't need the supplements.

No problem :)
And As John just sai, try to get as much as you can from your regular food intake. They are meant to be additions not replacements. And your system needs whole foods to be processed. For your digestive systems as well as for your feeling of being full, your body's ability to break down food, etc. Eating too many "soft" meals can lead to a ton of negative effects.
Plus those things are isolates and have not the full nutrition table of a normal meal. See them really just as addition to fill the gaps where normal food wasn't enough to get the full calculated amount of protein in a day :)
I only take one scoop of whey in the morning, and one as post-workout. that's it (and only one in the morning on non workout days). The rest of the day i make sure i eat enough protein from eggs, meat, beans and every other variety of things.
