I take creating, protein and mass gainers and they all say not for the use of u18's.

Is this just a disclaimer or should I not be using them?

Supplements are just supplements to your balanced and right diet. They are concentrated form of whatever individual supplement is. In recommended portions they are safe for sure. If you are buying thrusted brands, products should be "clean".

Especially in USA is it neccessary to write down that coffee is hot and that you must not put cat in microwave.

With proteins, gainers and creatine there is no risks. But manage your diet first.

I agree with Rishi here. NUTRITION is 90% of any training regiment. The training is only 10% of the end result. Without proper nutrition, all the training in the world will produce suboptimal results. The key thing to remember is these are supplements not replacements for proper nutrition - they are there to supplement your intake of nutrients.

As Gregor said, if you stick with reputable brands and stay with the basic supplements like protein powders, BCAAs, and vitamins/mineral supplements you will be fine. I would be cautious with any weight gain or mass gain formulas as most of them are packed with tons of sugar and calories to overload your metabolism. You will grow but it won't be quality growth compared with good old solid nutrition and a pure protein supplement. Even though at 18 and under you are a growth and testosterone producing machine, you still are better off feeding that machine with quality nutrients and proper training.

I agree, Mass Gainers are the only thing to really concern yourself with regarding what you're taking because of exactly what John mentioned. Mass Gainers are designed to help you 'gain weight' by essentially taking the same concept of a protein shake, but then slamming it FULL of empty sugar calories.

At your age, if you're interested in gaining weight you need to just eat like a horse.

I would like to add a few important things in taking creatine... make sure that you don't have any kidney problems..if you have some kidney problem then creatine is not advisable to take. Now if you don't have any kidney problems.. make sure to tkae only 5grams daily and drink a lot of water to avoid risk in your kidney and to avoid dehydration as well. All supplements are safe if you used them well.
