Hey Denis,

Honestly, there is insufficient evidence regarding its effectiveness for elevating athletic performance or building muscle - it's potentially unsafe and linked to seizures and rapid heart beats. The majority of fat burning supplements are a waste of money due to having little if any beneficial effect. There is good news though - Besides creatine and whey / casein protein powder or caps, the best ingredients you can use are those that you ingest as a part of your regular nutrition plan, alongside an effective exercise routine.

Items that help either directly or indirectly (alongside a balanced diet) are cinnamon, ginger, green tea ECGC, oolong, red peppers, protein, healthy fats, papaya, turmeric, high fibre, garlic and onion, calcium and probiotics (low-fat Green yoghurt), green leafy veggies, nuts and seeds, apple cider vinegar and various others. I'll have an article up on this site in the next few weeks with more detail on fat burning methods, whilst maintaining muscle. Keep an eye out bro :)

Denis,

Most of these supplements don't provide the results as advertised or do but require mass doses to achieve the results. I agree with Dave's posts - the best way to get real lean and burn fat is proper nutrition and proper training. Outside of steroids and growth hormone, there is no fat loss in a bottle :-)

I use a supplement prior to my fasted cut training called Forge.  I am not promoting it, simply giving my experience.  It contains Yohimbine, as well as some other ingredients if you would like to research it.

I started with the recommended dosage and I felt like I drank a couple of gallons of coffee!  My heart rate was scary high for 16 hrs and I was way to jittery.  So, I laid off for a week.  Then I cut the Forge rate to one capsule, about 1/3 the recommended dose.  Still a bit catious, I alternated days taking Yohimbine to see what effect it had on my performance.  My wokouts with it where so much more powerfull, increased reps and weight.  It is an everyday preworkout supplement for me now.

I agree with the fact there is still a lot to learn about Yohimbine, but it plays a positive role with my fasted workout performance.  I need all the help I can get at 5:30AM!

Yeah my friend used it for some time and told me the exact same thing. Then i tried it and didn't like it, it felt so awkward + too much sweating. But i think everybody reacts differently to yohimbine.
