Hi guys !!

So i started to take Cellucore D4 as thermogenic so I can shred as much as possible (summer incoming yo !).

I just have a pretty big doubt...

On the bottle, it says "take 1 capsule in the morning and 1 capsure in the afternoon".

I'm aware of the effects of thermogenics, and my problem is that i workout at night. Usually I take the pill like an hour before my workout and so far it works fine as far as energy levels and metabolism go.

But I'm not sure about taking the one in the morning. Why ? Because I live in a pretty hot area already (the coldest it gets is about 90F), so I wouldnt want to increase my body temperature also, it would suck to sweat like a pig at work....

Gonna try it today though, see how bad it is and I'll update the thread in case someone else was wondering.

Thoughts ?

Hi man,

1 in morning and 1 in afternoon is meant to have constant process over whole day. Best thing is to use thermogenic in winter time :P But it will be the best to try and find out with practice what serves you best.

And just to mention...regarding to your hot environment, you should try to attack your fats with other supplements. Or you can post your diet and routines and we'll help you in that way. When you workout good and have good metabolism your body temperature is higher by default. Mine is almost one degree celsius higher than normal should be, but that's not pretty usual. Result of trainings and I guess also genetics.

Clement,

I don't know where you live but I live in Singapore where it is hot and steamy 24/7/365. If you also live in Southeast Asia, then you understand. I have no problem getting and keeping my body temperature up without further assistance. In my opinion, thermogenics are a waste of time and money. As Gregor mentioned above, your metabolism and body temperature - especially when you workout - is going to be high already compared to someone who doesn't train. I know you want to get shredded for the summer but the better way to do that is thru diet and exercise. Thermogenics "stress" your thyroid gland which is responsible for regulating your body heat and metabolism. You are basically over-riding your natural "on/off" switches and forcing the body to run hotter than your thyroid may want it to run.

Whether you agree or disagree with this or whether this is 100% accurate from a biochemistry perspective is open to debate. The bottom line is your body is already a fine tuned machine and I am personally just not a fan of using substances - natural or otherwise - that tamper with this balance.

Fat burners and thermogenics by concept are unsafe and a short cut that is trying to give you something you can do completely naturally and safely in the 'shortest time possible' in order to get money for trainees who are confused or worn out from their training and don't know what to do next.

In my opinion, avoid them like the plague. As John said they're largely out there to steal your money.

General tip: Any supplement claiming 'guaranteed results', 'Fast', 'Quick' or otherwise is full of sh** and stealing your money. The supplement industry is largely unregulated, so any claim made by a non-food replacement supplement (see also: protein supplements) are likely embellishing their effects and underselling other things that are contributing to their effects (IE: You lost weight largely because you trained and ate correctly, not because a fat burner helped you).
