My opinions are pretty much covered in the other threads :) I mostly enjoy advanced bodyweight exercises aswell as some light weight high rep exercises.

For me it depends on my goal. At the time being I'm trying to focus on my squat, bench, and deadlift for the purpose of powerlifting/strength athletics but I also have to train for boot camp. So I tend to do a lot of my conditioning, prehab and rehab at home, as well as train back, abs, and grip strength because all those things will benefit me for both my goals.

Dabbling in powerlifting, weight lifting and other strength athletics. Preparing for USAF boot camp. Super Hermanite.

I do all my training at home. I've never been to a gym. I have a power cage & do heavy compound lifts. Bodyweight exercises like pull ups too. I guess I train like I would at a gym but its my own home.

one year strength training.

I would love to check out gyms in my area but I have a daughter that I need to watch over. So training at home is my best option. I do train with my husband, other daughter, son in law and I have a girlfriend that comes over and trains with me occasionally. My friend asked me to come to her gym on a Saturday sometime when my husband would be home so I could go. So I'm looking forward to that.  This is part of my home gym it's about 300sq feet in total but this is my favorite part. I do go hard! HTH

Very sweet setup! I only have a basic Weider bench and some dumbbells. Although simple, they get the job done! I train just like I would at a gym (and I read you never been to a gym...if you're near one- even if it's a 24-hour gym, it might be worth at least trying...my best workouts always came from a gym, not home), and the best part of home is like you said, everything I need is in my home. If I forgot my headphones, I got my IHome I can hook it up to and blast WHATEVER I want! Gyms do have a particular atmosphere though. So every time I went to one, I felt pumped and ready to hit the weights...whereas some days/nights I get home from work I'm like a stubborn kid with the "I don't wannnaaaa" attitude and it leads to sub-par workouts that leave me frustrated.

I really like to train at home because..... Well it's home there can never be a place better. Actually working out alone at home is like my meditation, kinda weird but true for me, It's somehow calming. But still I need to go to the gym for all tha bad ass heavy equipments they have.....

Thanks  I don't think I've ever had a problem with being motivated. Call me weird but I can't wait to lift weights. Okay..I'm less excited about cardio lol but I love lifting weights.
