Hi bro,

Hope all is going well at your end. Hey i finally started working out. Though at times i skip the workout ðŸ˜‰ but i am trying hard to not let that happen and certainly i enjoy workingout with you ( I mean seeing your videos).

Hey i recently started eating oatmeal in the morning as breakfast with milk + a spoon of peanut butter + nuts and brown sugar. But i often feel sleepy after half or an hour. I read it increases the blood sugar level rapidly and hence makes sleepy. Some articles suggested eating oatmeal in dinner is much benficial for same reasons. So what do you say ? If i feel sleepy after eating oatmeal, is there any problem or its fine ?

Thanks.

regards,

Sumit.

Depends on the oatmeal but even then I'm not sure that's it. I eat Oats for breakfest but I'm never left hungry. It might be something else but I'm not wise enough to tell you what it is.

I'm 27, I'm male, I'm trying to maintain a healthy but nice physique. I weigh about 195, 6'0 I've got four large passions in my life! Sports! My Lord and Savior! P.E.! And last but not least..... My wife! HTH! I have other goals, just ask if you want to know! My handle is Big Boss, but you can just call me Allan. Finally, always remember, HTH!

Hey @intendingtolead! Great you have started to workout my friend! Consistency is key to seeing results, so try not to skip too many workouts! haha.

I have heard of that side effect from oatmeal before actually. Even just carb loading in general can sometimes make you more tired. I think it's something you will actually learn to get over if you continue to have it. It might take a little while but it should pass. Maybe you just need something like a coffee with your oats to counter-act them! haha.

Hi Scott,

Thanks for your kind feedback.

Yeah i too hope that after some time may be my body get used of oats. Though i found many articles that says that even if i eat oats at night before going to sleep, it can result with good sleep. https://www.healtholino.com/eating-oats-before-bed-good-or-bad/

Hmm, i am still figuring out what best meals i can have select for myself. But i am realizing that its a big science that everyone must be aware of. We mostly keep wasting time in studying useless things in school than something important like this which comes in use in daily life. Anyways will keep u updated.

Be well, stay in touch and keep rocking ! 😊

Yeah I have actually hear of some studies that suggest having some source of carbs at night (not necessarilly right before bed, but in the evening with dinner) can actually be helpful for getting a better night's sleep. So you can do that for sure, trial it if you like.

That's true, it does take some time to figure out what is the best for yourself in terms of diet. Everyone is different, and that's something that isn't always taken into account. If you can find what works for you though, then you have success 😁 Kep up the good work!
