The GYM is one place where not wearing the right clothing can cause injury, itchy skin, or even rashes. Correct clothing is clothing which is not only comfortable but also makes you look – and feel – good.

Last day I tried to wear on a complete set clothing, and I found out the great benefits on it.

  1.  Choose a lightweight t-shirt or a sweat shirt. It should be made of breathable material like cotton." Always wear cotton SHIRT on your workout day. This is good as the cotton will absorb your sweat, very good for our LUNGS.

 WARNING:

  • Do not wear anything in polyester or similar material clothing as it does not breathe as natural fibers like cotton do. Heat and sweat trapped by these fabrics can cause rashes if you have sensitive skin; they also tend to retain the smell of sweat. BAD for the lungs too.
  1.  Wear normal cotton gym shorts. These should at the most extend one inch below the knees. These shorts should not be tight around the waist, so elastic shorts will be more comfortable. Even cotton track pants can also be worn if you feel shy in shorts. It's very important to wear a comfortable shorts in order for us to move freely, specially when we are doing LEGS training.
  2. If you are planning to do heavy weights, include a leather waist belt in your wardrobe to avoid any injuries to the back.
  1. Choose your shoes based on what kind of exercises you will be doing.Choose your shoes based on what kind of exercises you will be doing. For example, if you want to do more cardio exercises, then going for a jogger shoes will be a great idea.
  1. Wear cotton socks. Tight socks could slow the blood circulation.
  1. If your planning to lift heavy weights ( arms workout) wear a gloves with wrist protector. I will help you to maximize your strength to lift it.
  1. Always carry a soft towel to wipe your sweat every now and then. You don't want to leave your sweat on the seat of a machine.
  1. Always bring with you a water bottle and headphone!. While doing lifting, you will be thirsty all the time. And sometimes we need some music of inspirations! it will boost our level of motivation to lift.

IT'S VERY IMPORTANT TO BE PREPARED IN THE BATTLE FIELD ALL THE TIME! I just realize that all of it has a great benefits.

  • Makes us comfortable all the time.
  • Prevent any injuries
  • Lastly, It help maximize or give an additonal percentage to our strength to lift HEAVY.

Great post Mike!

I LOVE wearing my #HTH Stringer tank, but if I don't wipe down the bench first the exposed skin can get some achne... not good!

But, I have much better grip of my back on the bench when bench pressing. I feel like I slide a lot with a t-shirt on the bench.

I do have some of my own recommendatons to what you listed though.

3. Only wear a belt if you NEED it. Relying on a belt will cause weakness in your lower back.

4. Believe it or not, wearing thin shoes like New Balance Minimus is much better for you. The closer you can be to "natural" the better. I never wear "running" shoes anymore. Since I switch to shoes that have minimal "padding" I have a much more natural running form. The closer you can be to barefoot the better.

6. only use them if you need them. Once again relying on this stuff will cause weakness in time.

Love it Mike, you ar providng AMAZING info daily!

Merry Christmas!
