Hey Scott.

I've been doing sumo deadlifts for about 3 months now, but I notice that only my right leg is beat up with bruises and blood haha. I guess it's because of the mixed grip I use(left hand supinated) the bar isn't straight?

I feel really solid but can this be something that holds back my strenght in sumo? Is it possible for me to get injured because of the "imbalance", and how do I fix it if that is the case?

Keep up the awesome content!

Regards Gustav.

The deadlift or any variation of it is highly dangerous if not perfomed correctly. It can screw up your back either during the workout or in the long run.

Fixing your balance is something you have to work on, deadlift with less weight and focus on the form.

Hey @Gurgel.

I actually have a video coming out soon about everything you need to know for sumo deadlifting, and how to lift as much weight as possible. That should hopefully help you with any issues you're having :-)

Stay tuned!!
