Losing weight can be difficult for a lot of people. The main reasons are as follows: People are too lazy to exercise, some people dont have a very flexible schedule to exercise due to a hectic job, and the most common of them all is most people have a very poor diet. I will say that the primary key to weight loss is ones meal plan. To successfully lose weight one must be in a caloric deficit of 500 calories below maintenace each day. The saying you are what you eat is entirely true. If you eat junk you're going to look like junk, and if you eat good you're going to look good. When shopping for groceries try to stay around the perimeter of the store because thats where most of the natural healthier foods are. The foods down the middle of the aisles are mostly processed, full of sugar and contain unhealthy fats and ingredients that most dont know about. When it comes to exercise its not as bad as it may seem. Actually once you begin a weekly training regimen it becomes a routine that you start to enjoy. You will feel much better physically and mentally. Cardiovascular exercise is obviously the best for burning calories and losing weight. With that being said I highly recommend anyone trying to lose weight to do cardio at least 3-4 times a week for 20 minutes. The treadmill is the most popular piece of cardiovascular equipment and I use it 3 times a week myself. So for those of you who seriously need to lose weight, its high time that you start eating better and exercising regularly. Being over weight can cause many health problems and not to mention lack of confidence and poor self esteem. You can do it so get started today!

You've definitely made a great point there! Something to also keep in mind in regards to weight loss is portion control.

yeah basically you want to stay away from the lights!!!!  and by lights I mean boxes with pretty colors and fun cartoon characters in teh grocery store.  They are usually crammed with all sorts of things your body doesnt need.

Also, at th end of the day it is just so easy to get on track with a high protein diet.  Meats & dairy all day long right? :)

Also if the ingredients list is something you need a PhD in chemistry to understand that is usually not a good sign :-)

I totally agree. The diet plays such a huge role in ones physique whether it be to burn fat, build muscle, or maintain.

Agreed Nate! :)

People should know that it's not all about achieving that sexy body, we need to workout and know more about fitness for us to live healthy and stay positive. (Exercise promotes positiveness)

People around us need us, especially our love ones and in order to stay with them for a longer period of time, we need to stay strong and alive. Simple as that! :) #HTH
