Hello.. i train multiple parts everyday for 6days in a week. I have some doubts but first, here is how i train.

Day1 chest12sets, triceps8sets, abs8sets

Day2 back12sets, biceps8sets, sides8sets

Day3 legs12, shoulders8

Day4 chest12, back12

Day5 bi12 tri12

Day6 same as day3.

I want to know whether or not my frequency and number of sets is right. I dont want under do or over do it.Also, on first 3 days, i do 8-12 reps in every set. In last 3 days, i do 5-6 sets with heavier loas pee set. Do i need to alter it for gains, given that i am a hard gainer?(LISS cardio in evenings)

Thanks in advance!

@Kanwarsgill First thing I saw here is that you say you're a hardgainer. The main thing with that is making sure you eat enough food to grow. If you're applying progressive overload and eating enough, you should see growth.

Your split looks OK. I think the volume is sufficient, for sure. Doing 24 sets for your bigger muscle groups and 20 for your smaller muscle groups, on paper, looks like enough volume.

So the first thing you should check is your @mealplan. If you're not growing and not gaining, you're probably not eating enough. If you feel like you are hitting a plateau with your training, maybe you could try a different 6 day split like Cheat & Recover?

I have only begun this routine from last week so i'll have to wait a couple more weeks to see the progress... i have a 400-500 caloric surplus and crbs are sufficient. Thanks for replying man it always helps... i was only worried about the volume and frequency.. you did not mention about the intensity.. it that ok too?

@Kanwarsgill I can't judge the intensity by looking at how many sets and reps you're doing. Intensity comes down to how hard YOU yourself are training. So it's really up to you to make sure you are training with enough intensity 💪
