So Ive been thinking the other day if it is a good idea to do shrugs first and then rack pulls since you need strength to execute them so probably one of the first exercises, then rack pulls since you just let the weight stretch them without applying any force for more overload?

@LAGman91 I would do the rack pulls first, because you will overload the most there. If you do shrugs first, then you probably won't be able to get quite as much weight on the bar with your rack pulls because your traps will be pre-fatigued. And because the ROM is so small with rack pulls, it's just about lifting as much weight as you can.

 

If you are training traps multiple times a week, then maybe one day you can do heavy shrugs first followed by rack pulls, and the other day do heavy rack pulls first followed by shrugs?
