    hello everyone

i've seen on google that creatine causes hair loss,is that really true? :/

The increase in DHT was about 56% in one study and the DHT to Testosterone ratio increased by 36%. As Pexecho already stated, this is only an issue if you are genetically pre-disposed to hair loss. DHT is the hormone responsible for minaturation of hair follicles in the vertex (crown) and frontal areas or both of the male hairline. If both your parents and/or grandparents have/had male pattern baldness, you are at a 90% chance of having it. If only one side of your family does, then you have a 50% shot. If non of your immediate family does, then you have a 5% chance. However, the sensitivity of androgen receptors to DHT vary by individual and the age of this sensitivity varies as well. I would only be concerned with creatine if I was in my 20's and already was experiencing substantial hair loss.

All men start losing some hair at age 35. The amount, speed, and extent is 100% dependent on genetics. Creatine does not raise DHT to the levels of steroids which can increase DHT by 1000+% so I would not be concerned too much with Creatine and hair loss. The amounts of hormones the body produces naturally are in the nanograms (1 thousand millionth of gram). Steroids raise hormone levels into the milligram range (thousandths of a gram). A 56% increase in the nanogram realm is much smaller than a 56% or more increase in the milligram realm. This is also why most natural testosterone boosters are total bullshit. 60% to 100% increase in testosterone in nanograms is like pissing in the ocean - it ain't gonna raise total sea level.
