Hey Folks,
I have been working out from last 3 months and from last 1 month I have started taking SUPPLEMENTS. At the times when I was not working out I had clear skin and no problem with acne or anything like that but I know that I am sensitive enough that If I eat egg or nuts I'll have some pimples on my face.
So from last 1 month as I am taking supplements I am witnessing Acne and backne again. Pimples on my face and on my chest and back. I am likely to belive that could SUPPLEMENT cause this ?
I served internet and found some articles that says WHEY PROTIEN and CREATINE does cause acne.
Supplemets I am using ; BSN TrueMass once a Day in breakfast. BSN N.O Xplode as a pre workout. BSN Cellmass as a post workout.
So I really want to know that actually what is more likely to cause ACNE because I'm sure that no one likes acne on thier face and it does distry your confidence in public.
Thanks in Advance.

I would cut the NO XPLODE first. It has a lot of ingredients, you might be intolerent to one of them.
Another thought is that maybe you are lactose intorerant in which case protein in the form of whey or eggs or milk will cause problems for you. Acne is actually a pretty rare symptom though.
Best way to know this without visiting a doctor is by trial and error. Start cutting supplements one by one and see when the acne clears out :)

So I was thinking about to quit all Supplemets for a week and drink lots of water like 2 liter per day.
And after 1 week I'll start cutting one supplement and carry on with oter 2. And than continuw with other 2 aswell like this.
Does it sound rite ?

Ok yea cut everything for a week, make sure the acne disappears and then introduce them one at a time. Give each one a week to "work" and check your results :)
So first week only use TrueMass, then second week add the Cellmass and the 3rd week add the preworkout

Mohsin,
Are you using milk with any of your supplements? Dairy is a big contributor to acne for some people. At your age, your hormones are already high which increases activities of your sebum glands in your skin (oil glands) which is a normal part of puberty. Bacteria living on your skin feed on this excess oil. If your body is sensitive or slightly allergic to dairy, this makes the problem worse.
I agree you should determine what is causing this thru a process of elimination. I also know that milk and greasy foods are a major cause of acne. I know you eat a nutritional diet hence my question about your milk consumption.

When I was in college, my face was all of a sudden DESTROYED with acne.. like horrible.. and to be honest it taught me to have more confidence when I had to do business presentations. I learned to not care what people saw when I had huge red spots and pimpled on my face.
But either way, we want to help fix this.
For me, it was sugar. I noticed whenever I drank soda I would breakout and when I watched and controled my suagr levels, including candy, the acne would go away. Maybe something for you to think about.
As for the questions on your profile.. I will answer below.
I have started GYM from last 2 months. And I am looking forward for lean ripped body BUT I know for that I have to go through Bulking session. So currently my routine is like; 8:00AM Breakfast :Beef Mortadella Sandwich with BSN TrueMass 1.5 scoop. 9:30AM : BSN No Xplode 3.0 as a Pre workout 1 scoop.
In Gym I do 10 mintues of Trademill and 5 minutes of Cyclying. And than workout for specific muscle. 11:00AM : I come back and have BSN Cellmass as a post workout 1 scoop. Than I stay at home do my work. And Than 1:00PM I have my Lunch. 9:00PM : I have 1.5 scoop of BSN TrueMass with milk and banana as a Meal replacment. Than off to bed. I am 23 years old and weighting around 62kg with height of 5.5ft.
1)Kindly let me know that where I'm wrong and how I can improve.
Can you fill us in on your muscle splits? Reps and sets as well?
2) Can I have 1.5 scoop of TrueMass in a day for breakfast only ?
That should be ok.. but depends on your total macros for the day. can yoiu fill us in? have you watched the video on building a meal plan on this page? --> @mealplan

"No, I was not taking any dairy product with or without supplements."
That is not completely correct, as you take a lot dairies "in" your supplements already.
Just as example: BSN TrueMass
What the guys were saiyng is that you could be lactose intollerant, which could cause the acne. And also high intake of milk / dairy products can be a fuel for acne.
Not only the fatty properties of milk alone but also high milk / lactose consumption in general.
As you can see the mass gainers have a LOT of dairy products and isolates from dairies in them. Simply because they are great in nurturing the body and putting on weight.
Should it turn out that you really are lactose intollerant, you might need to switch to products that have protein from peas or soy. To avoid the extreme intake of dairies every day.
As your problems started when taking these supplements, this is one of the most likely cases. Aside from the high carbohydrate content.
Keep in mind those products are made to really feed the body, and even overfeed. In order to pack on weight that you normally wouldn't gain. So of course they bring a lot 'overload' in certain ingredients to your body. Which i have seen happening to other people too, can cause acne, fatty skin, or other issues. Along with intolerances to certain products sparking up. Things they didn't notice they had an intolerance for, whern eating normal. As they never bombed their bodies with such amounts of it before.
Your attempt to stay 1 week off completely is good.
But i'd make it 2 weeks. As this is the time the body needs in most cases to "flush" everything out. (same with pimples, they sometimes can take up to 3 weeks before they heal and vanish. So you might not notice a difference right away, or after only a week)
And then start with one supplement after the other to see when problems might re-appear.
Cheers ! =)
