My favorite pre-workout would have to be N.0 Xplode 2.0! The reason being is that it gives you this very alert focus and energy without the crash or jitters like most pre-workout give. I've also experinced great pumps with N.0 Xplode specially when I stack it with BSN Amino X and BSN Nitrix! For any of you guys wanting insane focus, energy, and pumps give this stack a shot!!

BSN Hyper FX is definitely great.  It gives you the energy and focus without that PUMP feeling you get from N.O.-Xplode 2.0 :)

I need to get some BSN N.O. Xplode 2.0! I remember it was the first pre-workout I had when I was 16! I'm currently taking Aminotaur intra-workout. I love the BCAAs it conatins during my workout. Does anyone else take an intra-workout?

Guys,

Just my opinion on all this pre-work out stuff.  This is my opinion and it is fine if everyone disagrees - I just throw it out there for discussion.  The human body is an amazing adaptable machine.  It has natural pathways to use glucose, NO, creatine, EFA, protein, etc. that it either produces on its own or gets from your diet.  The more you train it, the more efficient these pathways become just like what cardio does for your endurance and heart efficiency.  I have never been a believer in these types of supplements.  While they are all natural and some heavily studied (like creatine), I find that using them hinders how efficiently your body can learn to use and produce energy for the stresses of training by itself.  I understand the argument that they help give you that extra edge, push that extra rep, a better pump, or lift heavier.  These are all true and sound facts.  I just believe that you are short-changing yourself and your not truly forcing your body to adapt.  Using exogenous sources of natural substances - be it caffeine, creatine, NO, etc - trains your body to rely on these external sources and not develop and use them more efficiently from the foods you eat and the air you breathe.  Just my perspective :-)

Hyper FX is good to, but it just seems to be a little more on the weak side for me. I have a high tolerance for caffeine/pre workouts.

That is a great point and ironically I do agree with you. I dont think its a good thing to always have to rely on pre workouts which is why I cycle off of them every 4 weeks. Ill use them for 4 weeks and then take a couple weeks off.

yeah true that. I think I might stack N.0 Xplode and Hyper FX together today for my back workout and see how it goes!

Hey Global Hermanites!

My personal favorite Pre-workout has to be C4 Extreme Icy Blue Razz. Now this decision wasnt simple and took along time to discover. I've tried many pre-workouts but the one that stuck out the most as a negative was N.O Xplode. Reason being was because when I took it, I felt extremely sick. Now this is my opinion, as everyones bodys are different. Now im unsure if it was maybe because I took too much or my body just wasnt use to it yet. But as I took it, and began my workouts, I couldnt help but feel different. I felt very light headed and my heart was racing, causing me to feel very nervous. So I quickly gave that up. Than I came across C4 Extreme, and

for those of you who arent very familiar with this product, here is a picture. Now this product gives you a very good kick. At first, you begin to feel a bit twitchy but dont worry, it just signifies that the pre-workout is kicking in. I found out, that taking it 30 minutes prior to your workout, gives you enough time to stretch and begin your workout, eliminating the twitch effect. I never feel it anymore, possibly because my body is now tolerant of it. The amount of energy I obtain from this product is great, because I never feel light headed, nor nervous, nor weak at any moment, and I always feel explosive. For those hermanites who love their flavored products, this specific product comes in many flavors. Here are the flavors! Fruit Punch, Green Apple, Icy Blue Razz, Orange, Pineapple, Pink Lemonade, Strawberry Margarita, and Watermelon. Now this pre-workout comes with NO3, which helps give you that explosive feeling. Servings per container are 30, so 1 scoop equals to 5.7 g. Personally this is my favorite Pre-Workout!. Thank You guys for taking your time to view this post, and I wish you all the best in your endeavors! Be safe and have fun Hermanites!

I like to use good 'ol green tea pre-workout.  It has the most powerful antioxidant on the planet, ECGC, and it is great for stamina and recovery :-)

Great post William!

Lot's of Hermanites like to use C4.  I know I am a BSN Athlete, but I am not going to tell you to only use BSN products :)  I am glad that you found something that works for you.  I always hated trying new pre-workouts.  Either they tasted gross, didn't work, or both.

I have been drinking them since I was 14... probably not the best thing, lol but needless to say they don't do much for me anymore.  Then I tried N.O.-Xplode and I was hooked!

But after taking it for almost a year straight, I stopped.  You need to cycle pre-workouts or they lose their effect.  So right now I stick to the CELL MASS and AMINO-X for obvius reasons and use the SYNTHA-6 ISOLATE with my meal plan.

Again, great post!  Loving the community engagement! :) #HTH

Hey Guys,

I notice most of you use non-organic or composite pre-workouts like c4 extreme and BSN Hyper I used to use those exact two, but after the Olympics here in London where I saw loads of the competitors take concentrated beetroot shots I've been trying the same and the results are pretty awesome.  There's quite alot of research on it and all I can say is have a read and buy yourself some shots, its worth a try and if all the Olympic guys are using it and their national associations are pushing it then that means the Sports Science world is backing it too.

Its pretty cheap and works by boosting your oxygen usage efficiency! I kinda like the idea that its organic, plant driven as well. Try it, love top see what you guys think!

VPX shotgun 5x is great preworkout. It's not heavily packed with stimulants and caffeine which is perfect if you're coming off a stim break
