Poor Pump/Fullness Related to So So Sleep?

    February 11, 2020, 10:25 am

One thing I notice, I have been working out in the AM, then working...so sleep during the week is 6ish hours.

On off days, I make up and sleep 7-9 hours (with a nap).

So what I am noticing is, during the week I seem to have less pump, less fullness in my muscles.

On off days (as in not working, but still going to the gym) I don't have this issue.

This exact same thing used to happen when I would go to the gym skipping breakfast or not having eaten in several hours, muscles wouldn't feel full or would feel flat.  Now it's happening again at times, but it seems to more about sleep.

Is this weird or common?  What's going on/solution?

@bluecountry Remember the pump doesn't last forever. The days you're training yes you're generally getting a pump, but you're tearing down the muscles as well, so they're trying to recover. On your off days they're not being broken down which might be part of the reason you feel fuller.

Sleep will be a factor but food plays a big role too - try to eat something before training if you can!
