I'm a busy, working mom of 5 kids. Four of the kids I gave birth to and I have an 11-year-old stepdaughter. We've got a set of 4-year-old twins and a set of Irish Twins. One of the Irish twins turns 2 this summer, and the other one turns 1 later this Spring. So, we have 4 kids that are under 5 years old. Our life is chaotic, busy and there is never a dull moment. I’ve been pregnant for a lot of the last 5 years of my life. Between that, caring for little ones, and being a full-time social worker, my fitness goals have been neglected. Last fall I walked into my doctor's office and the nurse said, "Wow, you have lost 6 pounds since your last visit." I responded with, "When was that last visit?" Then she proceeded to tell me the date, and I thought to myself, "Oh, wow, I've lost 6 pounds since I was 8 1/2 months pregnant with my last child, that's not an accomplishment." So, here I am, ready to get more serious about my diet and fitness goals and get back into shape. I need to be able to keep up with my growing kids!
