Need to hit the gym in a hurry, and don’t have time to put a good pre-workout meal together? No need to panic! These banana energy balls can be made in advance so they are ready in emergencies like this, or you can simply take 5-10 minutes to whip them up just when you need them!


The mixture of long lasting carbs and healthy fats will give you all the energy you need for an intense workout!

Cooking Instructions

Ingredients:

  • 60 g milled oats
  • 1 banana
  • Vanilla extract (4 drops)
  • 1 Tbsp milled flax seeds
  • 20 almonds

Directions:

  1. Mash the banana in a bowl.

  2. Add oats, vanilla extract and flax seeds.

  3. Mix all ingredients well, until it becomes moldable.

  4. Form the mixture into six small balls.

  5. Blend almonds until they resemble a fine crumb.

  6. Take each ball and roll them in the almond crumb until they are completely covered in almonds.

  7. Enjoy!
