Years ago cycled a lot, weighed about 80kg (176pounds). Then (1999) I started working as a sales engineer (not much body movement, a lot of sitting) and gained weight. I tried to loose weight several times, but no luck (lack of motivation). Now my weight is 113kg (249pounds). I have complaints of high blood pressure and want to change my life. I signed in for the Fisherman's Friend Dutch Strongmanrun of 2014. Now I try to loose weight and gain strength by running and fitness. I hope I can fiend the best way to combine them here, so I reach my goals and can finally start to live more healthy and enjoy my 2 kids even more in the future.
