What would be more beneficial?

I have some giftcards and coupons to Dick's Sporting Goods and I am either going to buy a fitness tracker or Skulpt Chisel. At first I wanted a tracker that I could use during the day to track my calories burned from steps to calories burned in the gym. Some bands that I looked at included the Microsoft Band 2, Atlas Wearable, TomTom Spark, and Fitbit Blaze. All of these are pretty costly as they go over $175. Now I could either buy one of them to track my calories burned throughout the entire day, or I could buy the Skulpt Chisel which is much cheaper and could help me in different ways. Instead of tracking my calories burned, I can track my body fat percentage to get a precise measurement on muscle gained vs fat gained. I can also pinpoint weaknesses on my body and look to improve those areas. Since the Skulpt Chisel is cheaper, I could go with that and then purchase a cheap fitness tracker that gets the job done and tracks steps/running. Any input would be much appreciated!

Thank you

I would get the skulp. You can just play around with your calories, macros, and activity levels until you're losing or gaining weight.

To be honest, I feel like those fitness trackers are kind of a joke. At the end of the day you are going to be able to make better adjustments to your training and meal plan if you can monitor your bodyfat %.

By monitoring your bodyfat % you will know if you need to increase or decrease your calories to gain muscle or lose fat.

Either way, let us know what you decide to do! If you grab a CHISEL, be sure to use this link! http://goo.gl/hvapTN

When I started out I used a fitness tracker as a REMINDER tool to get up and move. But at fitness becomes a habit, it became more of an annoyance then a tool. I'd go chisel
