Will heavy landmine presses be suitable enough to build the chest? Or does the Incline Press triumph? If you had to choose one or the other which would it be? a 225lb landmine press or a 225 incline press? (If you couldnt go past 225 on the incline press)

@faijaii Well.. I don't think you'll go past 225lbs on a landmine press if you can't press 225lbs on the incline bench. You'll be able to overload a lot more on the incline bench press, so I would say that's number one.
But that's not to say you can't do landmine pressing as well to give your upper chest some extra attention!

Hey Faijaii,
Based off my experience, the landmine press does WONDERS for the upper chest. I experienced many gains when using this exercise for months (even better than incline pressing). That said, you must find out what works for you. Many swear by paused incline presses, paused OHP, and even low to high cable crossovers for upper chest. I say every approach works, but be sure to experiment. Enjoy the gains!

is the landminepress considered more of a compound movement like an incline press or is it more isolation like a cable cross over?

@faijaii It's kind of a compound movement, because it's working through the shoulder and elbow joint to go from the bottom position to the top of the press. I think Alex's advice about trying multiple movements to see what works best for you is a great idea!
