Hey guys, a couple of months ago I injured my lower back by arching too much on the bench press however that weight was 40 kg and I am now at 65 kg so I have improved I guess form the physiotherapy I had. But the muscles in my lower back pelvis hip area are still feeling tight especially during squats or deadlifts. Also when I stand up from sitting down for like 10 minutes My sacrum pelvis and hip crack a little bit but it doesn't really hurt. So what can I do to stop this from happening? Is the cracking because of the muscle tightness? I mean I can run and do whatever but it just worries me. I mean I am only a 16 year old.

Thanks

Rayyan

Hey Rayyan,

I can only tell you to not worry about cracking sounds as long as there is NO PAIN.

We all have some cracking somewhere but as I told you before, its perfectly fine as long as you dont feel any pain.

Also..

Make sure to strech your low back and do some hip mobility work daily if you can.

All the best

Hey @RayZ. @andrija04 is right. If there's no pain, it's probably not a big deal. If it's painful, that's when you have an issue. Check out the videos below for some good hip mobility exercises you can do from now on before lower body workouts, or even just daily.
